The Vice Chairperson of ASPI served as a speaker at APASTB 2021, presenting the topic “Current Perspective of MSC-EVs: Extended Messages of Regeneration.”

As part of ASPI’s commitment to contributing to the advancement of stem cell research and clinical applications in Indonesia, ASPI has not only been actively involved in national scientific activities but also in international scientific events, including the APASTB 2021 International Conference (Asia Pacific Association of Surgical Tissue Banks 2021).

This scientific meeting was held virtually, bringing together leaders, scientists, physicians, business professionals, ethicists, and educators from across the Asia-Pacific region who are dedicated to advancing responsible stem cell research. The conference provided a platform to connect, collaborate, and discuss the latest developments in the field, emerging data, and new breakthroughs.

Dr. Cynthia Retna Sartika, M.Si., Vice Chair of ASPI, had the opportunity to participate as a speaker alongside leaders, scientists, physicians, business leaders, ethicists, and educators committed to advancing responsible stem cell research throughout the Asia-Pacific region. She presented a topic entitled “Current Perspective of MSC-EVs: Extended Messages of Regeneration.”

Through this scientific meeting and the presentation delivered directly by ASPI’s Vice Chair, it is expected that the progress of stem cell research and its clinical applications in Indonesia will gain broader international recognition and serve as a new reference in the global stem cell research landscape. Ultimately, this will help Indonesian stem cell research attract greater attention from the international research community and continue to grow and advance in the future.
